Victorian Prisons : Fulham Agreement Summary
Fulham Correctional Centre: Fulham Agreement Certified. The AIRC certified the new Fulham Correctional Officers Agreement [FCOA] on 12 July this year.
Pay An immediate pay increase of 7.5% backdated to 2 February 2001, with further adjustments on the anniversary [same date] in 2002 and 2003 based on the December-to-December quarter rise in the Wage Cost Index for Victoria.
The work value review process to be completed in the ensuing six months settled by arbitration if necessary and agreement to be amended to include the outcomes of the review.
Conditions
Sick leave increased to 96 hours, 84 hours cumulative.
Carer?s leave increased to 60 hours.
Workers Compensation make up pay increased to 39 weeks.
Recognition of casual service for probationary purposes.
2 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers.
Implementation of Change information and consultation.
Right to arbitration in disputes.
Higher Duties to apply at 3 or more consecutive shifts.
Long service leave early access provisions of Act prescribed.
