CHILD PROTECTION CAMPAIGNS
Child Abuse and Neglect Summit Families Australia organised a Child Abuse and Neglect Summit, held in Canberra in June 2004. The Summit brought together key stakeholders from government, the business sector, unions, churches, the health sector and the community sector to discuss how they can work together to stop the rising incidence of child abuse and neglect in Australia. David Perkins of the Community and Public Sector Union delivered the following speech.
