"Words cannot express our deep anguish at the horror our union colleagues and the people of Haiti are experiencing." "We especially feel for our brothers and sisters in the Public Services. They are now struggling to save lives, heal the injured, repair vital services for the people of Haiti, amidst their own personal trauma."Mr Carey said - "We know that our contribution is small in the scheme of things. However we hope it will be a token that encourages all our Public Service Union members to dig deep and show the strength of solidarity from Public Sector union members across the world." We are urging our members to pledge funds through the International Public Services union, the PSI, psiaidfund@world-psi.org and the ACTU Australian union aid organisation, APHEDA.
