Aust Post dispute resolved
CPSU and Australia Post have today reached agreement to settle the dispute over "work environment issues" at the Melbourne Call Centre.
There will be:
No reduction in salary for Cori Girondoudas
A joint review of guidelines for personal items in the workplace, and other matters which enhance the work environment.
The outcomes of this review will apply to all staff in the centre,
Affirmation of all parties their commitment to the Award and EBA and processes for resolving workplace disputes
The agreement represents a sensible conclusion to this dispute which enables us to move forward in a more positive way. It enables the parties to avoid unnecessary legal actions. It also enables us to ensure that this sort of
dispute, which has been an aberration, will not happen again. This is something that we are all committed to doing.
