ELECTION NOTICE
Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009

Nominations are called for:

  • Branch Secretary
  • Branch Assistant Secretary (members not allocated to Sub-Branch No. 1)
  • Delegate to Branch Council (members not allocated to Sub-Branch No. 1)

Written nominations which comply with the Rules of the Union may be made at any time from Thursday,

3 August 2017. They must reach me at my office, postal address or email inbox not later than 12:00 noon (AEST) on Thursday, 24 August 2017. Nominations cannot be withdrawn after that time.  

Nomination forms are available upon request from the Returning Officer or from the registered office of the organisation.

Note: A candidate may submit only one statement regardless of the number of positions they are contesting to support their candidature in accordance with Rule 28 of the SPSF Group rules of the organisation. A statement must be no longer than 200 words in length and  should be submitted to the Returning Officer as a word document, either by email to nswelections@aec.gov.au or on a CD, not later than 12 noon AEST on Thursday, 31 August 2017.

By email:  A properly completed nomination form including the necessary signature may be scanned

                  and submitted as a pdf file to nswelections@aec.gov.au                                                     

                    Note: Emails greater than 6MB in size may not be accepted by the AEC’s firewall.

A ballot, if necessary, will be conducted by post and will open on 14 September 2017 and close at 10.00 am (AEDT) on Thursday, 5 October 2017.
