On September 20, unionists and students, young people and adults, all over the world, are striking for action on climate change and for climate justice. Everyone is invited, everyone is needed. 

Millions of us will walk out of our workplaces and homes to join young climate strikers on the streets and demand an end to the age of fossil fuels.

Our house is on fire — let’s act like it.

• In Victoria our union contingent is meeting at 1pm, Trades Hall, from where we will walk down to join the Climate Strike at Treasury Gardens from 2pm. Bring a union flag or wear a union shirt.
• In W.A. our union contigent will join the Perth Global Strike 4 Climate at 11:00am at Forest Pl.
• In S.A. our unionists will join the Adelaide strike from 12:00pm in Victoria Square
• In NSW we will join the Sydney Strike 4 Climate at 1:00pm in The Domain.
• In Qld our unionists join the Brisbane Strike 4 Climate at 1:00pm in Queens Gardens
• In TAS our unionists will join Hobart's Strike 4 Climate at 12:00pm on Parliament Lawns.
