Privatisation Watch

  • 12 May 2016

Quality public services are the foundation of democratic societies and successful economies. They ensure that everyone has equal access to vital services, including health care, education, electricity, clean water and sanitation. When these services are privatised, maximising corporate profits replaces the public interest as the driving force.  PSI will continue to develop its global anti-privatisation campaign: to focus on the drivers of PPPs; the role of the World Bank and the IMF; the link between development and privatisation; how privatisation is promoted by the G20 and OECD, and to strengthen our work at the sectoral level.  You can read and download the past and current editions of the newsletter and subscribe to it on our website.
