Members should be aware that on Friday 20 November 2015 the Federal Office of the CPSU(SPSF) filed an application with the Fair Work Commission to alter the Election and Appointment rules in Part 3 of Chapter C. The current election and appointment rules were replaced with a new part 3 based on the Australian Electoral Commission model rules. The application also sought to make consequential amendments to numbering and incidental mattes arising from the insertion of the new and longer Part 3.
