ELECTION NOTICE
Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009
Nominations are called for: FEDERAL SECRETARY
Written nominations which comply with the Rules of the Union may be made at any time from Wednesday, 8 June 2016. They must reach me not later than 12:00 noon (AEST) on Wednesday, 29 June 2016 at my office, email or postal address. Nominations cannot be withdrawn after that time.
Nomination forms are available upon request from the Returning Officer or from the registered office of the organisation.
A copy of the election notice and nomination form will also appear on the Union’s Website.
Note: Candidates may submit a statement in support of their candidature in accordance with Rule 28 of the SPSF Group rules of the organisation. A statement must be no longer than 200 words in length and should be submitted to the Returning Officer as a word document, either by email to nswelections@aec.gov.au or on a CD, not later than 12 noon (AEST) on Wednesday, 6 July 2016.
HOW TO LODGE NOMINATIONS
By email: A properly completed nomination form including the necessary signature may be scanned and submitted as a pdf file to nswelections@aec.gov.au. Note: Emails greater than 6 MB in size may not be accepted by the AEC’s firewall. Senders of emails to the AEC email mailbox should be aware that incoming emails that appear to be spam emails may be blocked. It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure their email reaches the AEC email mailbox before the deadline.

A ballot, if necessary, will be conducted by post and will open on 20 July 2016 and close at 10.00 am AEST on Wednesday, 10 August 2016.
